KakuCut is designed to make private, on-device video editing simple. This policy explains what happens when you use the KakuCut app and this website.

Your videos stay on your device

KakuCut edits the videos you select on your iPhone. We do not operate an account system or a server that receives, stores, analyzes, or sells your source videos, edits, captions, or exported files.

Permissions

• Photos: used only to import videos you select and, when you choose, save an export back to your library.
• Speech recognition: used to create captions from a selected video's audio. Processing uses Apple's on-device speech capabilities where supported.
• Microphone: used only when you choose to record a voiceover.

You can change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

Optional font downloads

If you choose to download an optional font, KakuCut connects directly to the font's published source to retrieve that file. The download provider may receive standard technical information such as your IP address under its own privacy policy. Downloaded fonts are stored locally on your device.

Support email

When you contact support@kakucut.com, we receive the information you include in your message and use it only to respond, troubleshoot, and improve KakuCut. Your email provider may process the message under its own policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as KakuCut evolves. The current version is always published on this page with its update date.
